My daughter responded to an ad on Craigslist where they needed assistance in sending money to another individual. They sent her a check and instructed her to cash it and send it to Roy Honeycutt at 2307 Hermitage Ct, Apt 703, Indianapolis, Indiana 46224. The scammers corresponded with her via text. The check they sent her was a business check from Marshall Company, LTD out of Corpus Christi, TX. I've attached a copy of the text, the fed ex label and the check. The fed ex package that had the check in it originated out of Dover, MA. My daughter had been scammed earlier from another individual where she lost over $900.00. I told her this was the same thing, a scam. I told her to tell them she was backing out and they said she had to return the check or else they would send the FBI out after her.
