I was told my phone number was entered to win a stay at Marriott hotel. I could then press 1 for more information or 2 to be placed on the do not call registry. I pressed 2. It said it would take up to 48 hours. I then hung up the phone. The number that contacted me was 315-405-1537

I received a call that said my number was chosen to receive a free stay at a Marriott hotel. It said if I was interested to press a specific button, OR if I wanted to be placed on the Do Not Call list to press 2. Stupidly, I pressed 2 and then hung up. Now I am seeing that this was probably a scam.
