I received a call a moment ago from 509-248-7599. The name on the caller ID said ROBERT W. BAIRD. it was a recording with a woman's voice saying she was from Marriott Hotels and since I have stayed at one of their properties I qualify for a free trip or something. My phone battery is wonky and it kept dying and cutting in and out but I believe they ask for credit card # or SS#

Recording saying my confirmation from a recent hotel stay was selected to win a free night. Press 1 to take advantage of this. Then a man with a foreign accent asked if I was over 30. I said yes and the call got disconnected. I called the original number back and it went to voicemail. Then the man who owns the phone called me back to see why I had called. Was definitely not the same person. Denied calling me in the first place. I cancelled my bank cards immediately.

Type of a scam Travel/Vacations
A robocall said my Marriott confirmation number has been selected for a free overnight stay. When I pressed "1" to investigate, a human voice said something really quickly, then asked, "Are you over 30?" I said, "Say that again?" She repeated, "Are you over 30?" I replied, "Over 30 years old? Yes." The caller immediately hung up. Apparently this is the "say yes" scam, and I got caught. http://fortune.com/2017/03/28/yes-scam-phone-call/ I do not know of any fraudulent charges, the call occurred a few moments ago.

Calling from a local number. Will call me harassing me up to seven times a day from 12 different phone numbers so far. The first 6 set of digits are always the same the last four always different each call. They say my number was pulled from a database at the hotel from a previous stay and they want to offer a free vacation stay at a Marriott hotel. The calls will not stop even though I ignore it every time.

Caller indicated I had been selected for a free opportunity at a Marriott Hotel because I had recently been a guest at one then asked was I interested in hearing more about it. I answered 'yes' then was asked to hold. I was transferred and the next person asked me my name. I did not answer. The person held on then laughed a little and quickly hung up.

I was called and told that because of my recent stays at Marriot Hotels that I would receive a free night's stay. (We had stayed recently.) They asked if I was over 35 to which I responded yes. Phone switched to someone else and when I told them I was having difficulty understanding them, they hung up. Upon calling back, it automatically went to voice mail.

"Marriott Hotels" calling to offer me a complimentary stay. They call from the number above, but also from 920-840-7213 and 920-840-7556. I know these are scam calls and do not give them any info. However, I always answer the calls b/c they are spoofing phone numbers from my locale.
