In mid-November, someone at my community college posted an email to the student population with catch tag "Earn Part Time Income, taking Local Surveys!" I filled out an application and today received an email from the "survey coordinator" named David Hesse. Something about the email made me suspicious--a weird email address, no street address or company website. Asked me to acknowledge receipt of email, which I stupidly did. Promise of $1,500 per week. Then received a text message addressed to someone else telling her that they had sent her an email and to please respond. Also stupidly, I responded that this was not this other person's phone. I am pretty sure now that this is a scam.
