I believe this to be a "mystery shopper" scam. This company/scammer hacked a personal LinkedIn profile, and messaged me to become a shopper for BestMark. Then, the followed up with an email, and mailed money order for over $***. I looked into the business. They have a website, etc., but the address is a personal condo building. There is NO way that BestMark is operating out of a condo in CA. Do not fall for this and cash the fake "cashiers check!"

Secret Shopper scam. Priority mail envelope arrived after I signed up for a secret shopper program that a 'friend' told me was legit on LinkedIn. As suspected, this is a scam. I received a cashier's check from Bank of Bolivar for $*** with instructions for my first shopping assignment. This didn't pass the sniff test from the start, but to make sure, I contacted Bank of Bolivar and was informed that it was, in fact, a fraudulent check. I've attached a copy of the letter & check. Please be careful!
