Scam Employment

The same situation that happened to Daija happened to me. A man named Drew Martin reached out to me claiming to have “found me” on LinkedIn, but made no attempt to connect with me on there. He then proceeded with the phony interview, did not answer any of my questions then followed up with “congratulations you’re hired” and listed off a bunch of outrageously expensive equipment that I would receive on the company’s dime. I didn’t proceed past this point. Way too many red flags.

Type of a scam Employment

Someone claiming to be from Maritz Global Events, a company I recently applied to, held an 'email interview' and than offered me a job on the spot. I responded that I wanted to speak with someone from the company, and they did not reply. I didn't share any personal details but I imagine they would ask me for that information if I had continued.
