I would also like to add Mariton global express as part of this scam. I initially found the website topmainecoonkittens. I found a kitten for my daughter and reached out to Jonathon Rivera Batiusta. All appearances and reviews seemed legit. Made payment via Zelle to Jonathon for a total of $880. This was to include delivery as well. The kitten was to be delivered on 8/31/2022 via Mariton Global Services. Then the emails began. First informed that the kitten was not in an approved crate. We were given three different price ranges all refundable. Went with the lowest at $1,770. Again paid thru zelle. Received text all was a go and confirmation of kitten delivery. But no another email from the person at Mariton Global Services. This time stating that pet insurance was required for flight at the price of $1,490. Thinking with my heart and not my brain for sure again paid. Confirmation of delivery again received. But alas a third email stating the kitten didn't have the correct, necessary papers and would cost yet another $2,400! This last fee was NOT paid. All the while attempting to contact Jonathon went without answers. From beginning to end everything had the appearance of being legit. All payment were made thru zelle and two small payments on pre paid visa cards. My daughter and I got scammed out of a total of $4,140. The Denver police have been contacted and are currently investigating this case.
