The company presented three fraudulent checks to their bank listing them as payee and my company as payer. They weren't even close facsimiles of my checks. My bank's fraud department caught the third check and refused payment though the first two went through. According to their website, this company offers subscription marketing marketing services that we have never used or subscribed to. It is not known at this time how they obtained our checking account number or bank routing number. When I called the number in question, the woman in customer service seemed nervous and reluctant to answer any questions. I described what had happened and told her I wanted my money bank. She said she would ask "billing" to send my money back. I told her that I didn't trust her as they had somehow procured my bank information. Then, I asked for the D/B/A and CEO of the business entity to which she nervously wouldn't reply. When I told her that it would be much easier if she just gave it to me, she responded that I was threatening her and hung up.
