AAA Tree Service was contacted by email by someone named "Marilyn" about ordering 14 cords of our most expensive firewood (hardwood). The person said they could not be reached by phone for a voice conversation as they were in the hospital being tested for an upcoming surgery for deafness. All communications had to be by email and text messaging. The person then asked us to charge a credit card for the amount owed to us AND for another $4250 to pay her driver to pick up the firewood and for other expenses. She stated the driver was having problems running the credit card and we would need to run her card for the extra amount to give to the driver. We declined and sent an email indicating we would only run the credit card for the amount owed to us for firewood. At that point, "Marilyn" sent a reply email saying she was no longer interested in purchasing the firewood.
