Illegal prescription, misrepresentation of credentials, endangerment
She has prescribed medications to both adults and children without a medical license, in violation of health laws and regulations.
She claims to be a PhD in clinical psychology and neuropsychology, which is a lie. She has completed the following studies in Mexico: bachelor's degree in law (cédula número 3092101), master's in criminology (cédula 8220643), and 4 semester PhD in psychology with a focus on research (cédula número 10278560), with no clinical internship requirements or hours of supervision. She holds no degree or license from any Norwegian institution (this is all made up by her). She claims to have a neuropsychology clinic in San Diego, California. The phone listed for said clinic is disconnected, the address provided for said clinic doesn't exist, she holds no license in the state of California for any healthcare profession (or any other, for that matter). The "doctors" listed from her website are not real people - none of those names exist within the directory of professionals licensed in the state of California to practice any healthcare profession (this is all easily verifiable information). She misrepresents herself as a physician, appearing in multiple pictures with a stethoscope hanging from her neck; she actually published a self-promoting video in which, while speaking about neuropsychology, she is examining a "patient" with her stethoscope. She has numerous "diplomas" from nonexistent awards (as in the awards she claims to have been awarded don't exist anywhere other than her imagination) with the images of the certificates also photoshopped by her.
In her office's waiting room she has framed what is supposed to be a cover of an Italian magazine featuring her as a neuropsycholoist. This is a poorly photoshopped version of a cover of said magazine featuring Eros Ramazzoti.
She has harassed people who've reported her by suing them for defamation and for prescribing drugs without a license.
She has endangered countless of vulnerable people struggling with mental health conditions who have made the mistake of trusting her to help them, benefitting from poor law enforcement in Mexico.
Beware, stay away from her and, if she has harmed you, report her to the authorities.

So I ended up loosing about 1200$ USD, and my peace of mind, she´s a very manipulative person and is especially great at breaking you down.
The reason I want to point her business as a scam is the reason why I ended up with her on the first place, her marketing is a whole scam: I'll describe the following points:
-She claims to be French Italian (she just looks plain mexican)
-She claims to have graduated from the University of Oslo (there´s no evidence to back this up)
-She claims to have a clinic in San Diego,CA (there´s no address provided, and the phone provided is out of service, theres no website for this clinic, and if you take a look closer to her web site http://www.marilyncote.com/ the supposed clinic is a photoshopped image, as well as her supposed employees (they are all cut ups with random names photoshopped)
-She Claims to have written books about suicide (as seen on Marylin Cotes Facebook ) but those books have no ISSBN number, a publisher, or availability such as a amazon ebay etc.. I got there for suicidal tendencies Yet she never recommended her book because it doesnt exist.
-She claims to be Fluent in Spanish, English, Norwegan, Italian, German and French. She can barely communicate in english with a very thick mexican accent, she can´t speak italian nor french, (I am fully multilingual so I could assess this personally) . So she only speaks fluent spanish with a mexican accent
-She claims to appear on Forbes (yet there are no articles related to this) she uses the logos in order to lure clients
-She Claims to give interviews for NBC San Diego (No related links to this) she uses the logos in order to lure clients
-She claims to have won the best psychologist award in the Netherlands (no evidence to back this up)
-She claims to have a clinic in Canada (she photoshopped herself in combat plane with the logo of the government of Canada to lure clients
-She claims to be a CSI level 3 for the San Diego PD (yet she can barely speak English
Theres so much to list that makes no Sense and it´s all made to lure clients using the logos of Important European and Northamerican Colleges and brands, that´s where the scam is.
