July 25th I was hired with Stantle to be a hub manager for quality assurance checks on packages. Packages were connected to mail forwarding or insurance on larger ticket items to insure packages were delivered undamaged. The set up was a month probationary period that would end with a quiz to determine permanent placement. The month period was to start upon completion of first processed order, the first order was processed on August 2nd. Over the course of the month 10 packages were processed. I have screenshots for some of the orders and materials given during the hiring process. My first paycheck was said to be sent out on September 1st, around this time is when the website for logging into work began popping up with messages of the system being down for maintenance and would be back up on September 4th. Efforts made to contact my manager Nora Johnson at 213-260-4156, text and call came back with no response. A couple days later the system now says it will be back up on September 8th. I emailed the payroll department at [email protected] and contacted the person who recruited and hired me Maria Schartel at [email protected]. On September 6th the site for logging in, base-crm.com was no longer accessible. Today September 7th doing some looking now see multiple reports of scam for others who like me were pulled in with an enticing job opportunity only to be ghosted after the month is complete and will never receive my months pay for $3,200. Time that could have been spent looking for and applying to other jobs wasted, and now I am going to be unable to pay my bills and stuck without the money I desperately need.
