I received a text claiming to be David J****** saying he was giving $30,000 to 50 people and that I had to text his Agent. Like a fool I did. That’s when he said I was going to be receiving $30,000 but I had to give him a copy of my ID, my bank account and routing number, a copy of my debit card and my social security number. He said he needed all that information to verify that my account could get that large of a deposit. When he couldn’t get anything out of my bank account he insisted that I give him all my passwords so that he could just go in there and do what he needed to do. When I refused he said that for me to get the money I had to send him $200. I only had $49 at the time to send so I sent it. When I told him that I figured out it was a scam he said I needed to go to my bank and get the money to send him. When I told him I needed proof he said I had trust issues. Every question I asked him or to send me proof that I could verify he would not answer and say just send me the money. He was very insistent that I had to send him the money. I told him I wasn’t sending any more money and I wanted my money back he just keeps saying I need to send the money and that once I sent it I would receive $30,000 30 minutes after. When I said I wanted the bank info for the check so I could verify funds he would say I needed to send the money. When I said that no millionaire would send people money to help them out and make them pay the shipping fee. He said it was because it was a large amount. He literally had a comeback for every but refused to send me info to verify everything he was saying. And he also kept saying that this is his job that I needed to trust him. This has been going on for 3 days now and he still is insisting that I needed to send the money.
