I had purchased a heater online. Without my knowledge, Margin Holdings Limited enrolled me in a "program of benefits" that was valueless to me and costing me about $75 a month in two amounts, about $25 and about $50. I noticed the charges on my PayPal account on the day after hey were paid. I phoned Margin Holdings Limited today and believe the ongoing charges have been cancelled. I don't have any hope of recovering the money I've lost. I havve since learned that Margin Holdings LTD owns PayPal.

Using Pay Pal, I purchased two mosquito repellent devices from Margin Holdings Limited (MHL) on 06/07/2024. MHL charged $57.46 for the devices. Additionally, MHL charged $19.99 on that date for a membership we did not authorize. Additional charges of $19.99 were made on 07/07/2024 and 08/06/2024. An internet search revealed MHL is located in Hong Cong, China. Other people have also had a similar recurring charge scam experience with MHL and filed reports. I called MHL with my complaint and was told by their agent (Andy) I would receive a Pay Pal refund of the recurring charges made. The agent spoke with a heavy India accent and was apologetic for the inconvenience they had caused. He advised he was located in New Jersey. I am waiting to see if a refund is made to my Pay Pal account.

Made a purchase from the company, which I do NOT dispute. However there is an added, reoccurring every month fee of $24.99. This is a bait and switch or scam of some sort, pay and continue to pay after buying my item, just to be a valued customer or something. This company is very shady.

I attempted to purchase a single item ($39.99) through Paypal. During the check out process, I got a pop up, suggesting if I bought more of the same item, I would get a discount. I exited from the pop up, but got a second and third pop up with the same offer. After exiting all three, I was able to complete the purchase, but shortly after, received an email with a total purchase price of $129.93. I called customer service and was told my order could not be changed, however, when I mentioned reporting it to Paypal, he quickly said he could refund the money. I checked with Paypal and they confirmed a refund was in process. I would just like to make other potential customers, be aware of the deceptive advertisement and unauthorized charges they could get from this company.
