I was supposedly contacted by this company 'Cross-Cultural Learner Centre' and they told me that my resume from Indeed was a perfect fit for their Customer Service Representative role. They then provided me a document and told me to contact Marek Ku*** on ChatWork from where he will be taking my interview and brief me about the job. The first thing which made me suspicious was the fact that the interview was taken via chatting and immediately after the interview I was told that I did great and I am hired. In no time it reached to my bank account and transferring of funds from the company to my account for purchase of necessary items. The wage offered was 27.50$/hour which sounded too good to be true so I searched up the name 'Marek Ku***' on google and went to his linkedIn profile where I saw a post made by him warning people of a scam thats taking place in recruiting candidates at 'Cross-Cultural Learner Centre'. He clearly mentioned that he has nothing to do with recruitment or hiring of individuals at the company. I was then swift to freeze my bank a/c and prevent the scam.
