Originally the email address I contacted was [email protected] to inquiry about a rental property. Then I was contacted by someone claiming to be Maree Wolley and that she was being stationed overseas with her company and didn’t want to work with her realtor anymore. Having been stationed with IBM in London, I found it a plausible scenario. But then she asked me to send her $1,000 and she would send me the keys and paperwork. I thought that suspicious. (She also said if when I go look at the property and see someone there, that it’s just her old realtor, which makes me think someone is already living there) Anyway, I decided not to work with her anymore and continue my search. I came across ANOTHER property on ApartmentList.com with an email contact of [email protected]. The phone number listed is fake and she asked not to be contacted through the app. Anyway, I have no idea how many other properties she has listed. The one to contact “Dan Cook” was on the Facebook Marketplace.
