I received a call from a man claiming to be with AT&T. He offered me a discount on my phone bill & a gift of iPhone 14 Pro Max. He asked for my account information so he could give me the discount, which I didn’t get. I received 2 iPhones by UPS. He said that was a mistake & needed to send them back, which I did. As I realized later, according to the UPS tracking slip, these phones went to two other people & not to AT&T as I thought. The 2 phones are now on my AT&T account. He was ordering the phones from my account & having me send them out to these two other people & I did not realize what was going on until I saw the 2 iPhones on my account. They are set up for me to make monthly payments on. I do not have these phones in my possession. In speaking with AT&T Support, they checked it out & saw what happened but could not take the phones off of my account. They said I have to file a claim with their Fraud Dept. & they would determine whether this was fraud on not. I turned it in but have not heard back from them yet. In searching this scam on AT&Ts Forum, I saw that many people were dealing with this same scam. I am 74 yrs old & having trouble dealing with this!! I’m desperately needing help!! I hope you can help or tell me what to do. I’m sending you a photo I took of UPS tracking of where phone went. Thank you so much!! ***** *******
