I did not reach out to the person in the text, so I am not sure if it would have resorted to the scammer attempting to collect money or not.

email says winner of Powerball - Manuel ****** is giving his winnings away to a lucky 5 recipients and each will receive $12.5 million. A Edward ***** Jr (the CEO of Fidelity Bank?) is helping him distribute the funds. The sender asks for full name, age, gender, address, country, occupation, personal phone number, office phone number, passport photo/id photo to distribute the funds. The email comes from an Italian email domain (.it) with the name Giovanni *****. The send also says that the US Government is monitoring everything so it’s a secure transaction.

Been getting text messages for a couple months now saying that I have been chosen to get money from the Lotto winner.

They said that I would be able to receive money from the Powerball Mega winner
