I am a country musician. On 10/12/23, I travelled from Portland, Or to Tucson to play three shows over the weekend, my Friday night 10/13/23 show at Borderlands Brewing Company. I was then not payed anything for my 3 hours of service. I was told on 10/18/23 via email that a check was being sent. They have ceased all communications and it’s clear I’m not getting paid for my services. This put me in a financial bind where I had to borrow money from family to get home.
