I have been searching websites for individual health insurance since I am retiring in a couple of months. This person sent me a text message showing his website address. I went to it and then he called me. I gave him personal health information for him to look into coverage. He "found" a BCBS policy for a good premium and good coverage. He then asked for more information which I gave him, including information to make a payment. He told me I was approved and I would be receiving a call and paperwork emailed to me to start the process. He gave me a confirmation number along with a phone number. I really thought everything was valid until I just happened to look at my bank account and the first "premium" amount has already been deducted. I was suspicious since the coverage isn't supposed to start until July/August. This man has all of my personal information!
