I wanted to purchase a British shorthair kitten I found a breeder online. Website was Maltabritishshorthair.com. The breeder sent me pictures and videos of the kitten we decided to purchase the kitten for $800. The kitten would have to be shipped to us from a third company shipper. The breeder said he brought the cat to the shipping agency the shipping agency called coastal logistics called me wanting us to give them $1400 to pay for pet insurance wire transfer only. We realize then this was all a scam. The breeder then said he would give us $400 to help pay for the pet insurance however we were not going to wire transfer any money to this random company. The breeder sent me the picture of the kitten in the crate ready to get on the airplane, but we needed to pay the 1400 or the kitten was just going to sit there. After a few hours past trying to figure out this was real or not, the breeder blocked my husbands and I phone number. Unable to get hold of anyone, we lost $800 and have we don’t kitten!
