My husband and I were looking for a Doberman puppy breeder and we found their website. We went on and looked at their puppies and fell in love with two of them. Once you chose a puppy, they asked you to fill out a form for your “order” and then they contact you via email. I received and email within about an hour of my inquiry. The first email seemed very professional and legitimate. The second email I received was completely different. It was not as professional, there was broken English and it wasn’t signed by anyone. They approved my application immediately when I figured it was going to take a while for them to go through applications and choose the best home. They were very quick to ask for payment through Zelle without giving me much information. I was asking questions about the puppies parents, their health, their location, the breeders name, etc. They never directly answered any of my questions like a reputable breeder would’ve been happy to answer. Every interaction and communication sent red flags. They asked for $1100 upfront for two puppies and then asked for $600 upon their delivery. Luckily I didn’t send any money.
