Hi, yes the experience was so surreal like any other job I've worked. I'd talked with a person over the phone as if they were from HR Department. I had to go through like a 3 part process before working, they mentioned I had to scan my ID to verify, and also scanned a W4 tax form. Instead of giving my bank information, I wanted to be paid through PayPal. I talked with another person claiming to be my appointed manager, including 2 supervisors. She mentioned I'll work for a month until my 1st paycheck, that it's$2,000 base salary plus $50 bonus and then it's biweekly. They provided a video for me to watch of what my job description entails, and that following week I received portal dashboard which was laid out of when I received packages, tracking#, from: UPS; USPS; and FedEx. I had to report M-F;9-5, then packages start rolling in daily, 2-3 packages. I start getting calls from "Supervisors", if I received certain packages that'll show up on dashboard and I did received that package DOA on later. My job was I had to verify product inside take a picture, then upload it to dashboard. They verified it, they make a paid shipping label for me to download through my printer. I repack then label the packages and send them to whichever store the label was prepaid. It was getting a bit strange later until the final days, I didn't receive any packages on a normal. Then, very last day of month I get an early morning call from "Manager", she asked if I received upto 4 packages. They were on the dashboard but didn't have any tracking info on them, but I never received them. I told her I haven't received them which I haven't, because I'm loyal and I treated it like a real job. After that was said, I asked her when can I expect to receive my paycheck; she replied it'll take about 24-48 hours and that she'll contact Accounting Department after we end the call. A few hours passes by I checked the dashboard now I'm locked out and can't log back in. So, at this point I'm lil nervous, frustrated, mad all in one. I'd put in all my hard-earned time thinking this legit. The day goes by stayed up late couldn't sleep. I wake up next morning still can't log in, I make phone calls to each individuals numbers no one's answering, all I get is the "Shipping Department's", voicemail. Now I'm just really furious about the whole situation, like 'I just let this happen to me'!!

I just found out that these is a scam they reach me same way by email I provide one form of identity and then one say the call me almost reaching the ferst month of job and they told me I was assigned a new task that I should buy some products for the company using my credit card and they will pay the balance!
That ring me and Igoogle it and I found it .

Same way as others I receive a digital document I signed and I provide a form of identity !
I don’t know if the actually pay but I don’t want to have nothing to do with it

I am a victim of the same company, under the name xpo Shipping! I have been having a funny feeling so I began researching. I put in the so called Corporate office phone number in Google and this site came up and I ran across your post. I immediately emailed HR and it came back undeliverable! I then began to call all the numbers and discovered all the voicemails had the same voice. I then start calling the numbers posted on this site and those voices were similar to "Rhonda" and "Micha" my supervisors. I emailed them and let them know I will be giving the stuff sent to my home to the police along with all information.

About a month ago I was contacted about a job at mainland shippers. I'd receive packages, have to quality and quantity check packages, print out labels and send them back out. I came across things that people dealt with very similar to myself. I was told I'd receive my first check a month out. Which is March 15th. Other people who had this experience, when it came time to be paid, it didn't come through. They contacted the company and was told it's a technical error. When they would go back to check up all contact information was disconnected

I received two emails and then a text:

Emails were offering a job based on my “resume from employment search webpages”. The emails told me to go to the links they sent.

Job Title : Picking and Packing Specialist (Daytime | Work from Home) Work Hours : 3 hours maximum (during the first month / training period) Role & Functions *Receive Packages / Pick Up Packages Monday to Friday 2 - 3 packages (during the first month). Packages may vary from small to medium size boxes. Estimated weight : 25 - 40 lbs. each. Picking up packages maybe 2 - 3 times per week. Pick up locations can be a partner office, store or logistic hub within a 3 mile radius. *Conduct Quality Inspection, Repack Items & Place Shipping Labels Check if the item in hand matches the description on the shipping label. Inspect for any damage or defects and take photos for documentation. *Drop Off packages Drop off locations can be one of the following : UPS, FedEx, Local post Office.
