Having applied to a job over Dice, I was contacted through a DocuSign with introduction and interview steps guiding me to install Signal messenger and get in touch with Troy Greenleaf [(713) 364-8027] for interview process. Troy seemed like a bot but I went along as he set up an interview for a Senior Data Analyst position at $46/hr for 1-week training which is purchasing equipment and $68/hr afterwards. The interview was setup for day after and I’m offered a job on the spot after I answered all the questions. At this point, my doubts are fully materializing as he requests personal details with no way to speak or contact in other form. After checking ScamPulse.com scam, I've realized this is a common procedure for job scam and the purchasing equipment is the part where the scam really takes effect.
