Lot of red flags raised from the get-go. There were a lot of available cats and we inquired about one. They emailed us back a message that was clearly copy-paste. There were typos, they said they were in "Newyork" despite the price for the cat initially being listed in pounds, and they misnamed the cat we were interested in a couple of times (we were asking about Penny, they said Lucy a couple of times). They said they were licensed with TICA, but when we looked them up on TICA's website, they were not registered. One review on their website said "To God we never believed you were going to ship the baby to us, Because we had falling into the hands of scam many times, So my husband said, well this should be the last time that we are sending money via wire transfer." which was suspicious because they were trying to prove from the get-go that they weren't a scam. Their website said they had been operating since 2006, but a quick search on Duplichecker showed that the website was created on July 24, 2021, less than 3 weeks ago. We were very suspicious at this point and demanded a video visit with the cat and the owner before sending any money, and they ghosted us. Their prices were far too low for a Maine [censored] anyway ($700), and the price they quoted for delivery was far below what pet delivery services usually cost. It's a scam, don't waste your time.
