I did not apply to this job, but received an email out of the blue from "Mrs. Irea Nelson (HR Manager)" offering me a job as a Customer Service Representative at Main Link Trucking. When I replied indicating I was interested in learning more, she sent me a PDF of a job description and an application form. The job description was vague, with no experience required, and too-good-to-be-true pay and benefits. I was suspicious, but returned the application with my name, address, phone number, and previous employment filled out. She quickly emailed me back and offered a same-day interview. I played along and agreed, but kept researching this company because it felt off. I found a *** scam report on this company from 2 weeks ago and the victim described the same scenario. When Irea phoned me (half an hour late) for my interview, the number came up as a Texas number, despite the company claiming to be based in Brampton, Ontario. She started asking me about my work experience but I interrupted and told her that I found the company listed on a scam report. I asked if she knew anything about that and she said no. Then I asked her where she was calling me from and she promptly hung up on me.
