I had been getting several calls from various out of state sites that would not lv msg. I am also on a national do not call list. I ignore them. I was checking my email and saw an order conformation stating my order has been dispatched a reference to a Microsoft surface pro for $3676.usd. I emailed this back indicating I did not order anything and that I would report them. I got a response from Microsoft support and they knew nothing about this and gave direction. I got back online and my system was giving a verbal online threat that my system was compromised and to contact this number of 1-937-619-8641 which connected me to supposedly Microsoft tech support. I questioned the person many times about who he was and he stated he was a Microsoft tech. then they had me write a check for $199.99 and cancelled check. this occurred at night around 11pm. after really thinking about it, I contacted my bank, explained what happened and cancelled that check. next day I was contacted by scammer number indicating they were magistrate judge on grand jury criminal offense. I looked up this number on reverse directory and it is a land line to carrier mci WorldCom communications in Oakland, ca. I had a real computer tech check out my system and remove everything these people put on my computer.
