Had a voicemail from a woman stating her name was Madison douglas from Madison douglas recovery and they had a pending case against me and I needed to call them. I call them back a guy answers the phone and I told him I had a voicemail for me to call back. He asked my phone number to look it up and I said a Madison douglas is the one that called and he said who and I repeated myself he said oh yeah she is one of the prosecutors. He proceeded to tell me I had a case for a payday loan that I know nothing about and tells me they can settle out of court for $810 Or charge me with larceny, and defrauding a financial institute. They wanted a statement on why I did it and I told him I have no record or memory of this. He had my last 4 ssn, an old job and old address, and only my last name no first name. He said he would take what I told him today and attach it to the warrant or affidavit and send it over to the judge and wished me luck, but I have 48 hours to change my mind and pay the $810.
