I was searching for a Green Winged Macaw Parrot. I found a website that looked absolutely real. I contacted them about one I liked. They responded immediately with pictures stating his name was Mike Dublin. He said he was out of Shreveport, LA. He also told me I could only purchase through cash app or Paypal. I talked on the phone with him and all seemed legit. I sent him $750 for a Macaw I liked. Then he said the shipping company would contact me with a shipping number and confirmation. I did receive all the things he said, but then the courier service asked for a refundable $900 for a certain cage for health for the bird. this is when my mother and I expected it was a scam. We did not pay the $900 cause of what we expected and offered to drive and pick the bird up and they wouldn't let us do that because mike wasn't able to get the bird from the courier because he wasn't the owner of the bird cause it transferred into my name, is what he claimed. We did more research on this courier and it is absolutely fake its called Delta Courier. They said they could only use cash app or Paypal as well. He has now threatened me saying he is going to put my information on the internet if I report him.
