The scammer sent an emailed Invoice for a 1 year subscription charge of $449 to be charged in the next 24 hours for MacAfee Secure service. I called the number listed on the invoice. Gave them my invoice number to look up my account. They never gave me my account information listed. They asked my to open my computer browser, specifically asking me what browser I was using. He asked me to type. www.anydesk.com into my browser. Once there he wanted me to click the download button, saying it was a cancelation form. At this time, I asked him for my invoice number, the one I gave him. He gave me a different number back. I explained to him I was not downloading anything to my computer. I then could hear others laughing in the background. He insisted it was just a form and he would not have access to my computer. I then told him I was going to report them, he hung up.
