I had a message pop up on my computer that it was infected with a virus, I called the number and was told I was being helped by Apple. The woman's name was Carol and she seemed extremely knowledgeable with different types of viruses and when she told me she supported Macs I stupidly gave her access to my computer. She then later said tech support was going to scan my computer for viruses and it would take about 1.5 hours and they would call at the end of that time. A man with an Indian accent called and asked me to check if my computer was working by checking into some websites and then said everything was done and he also sounded legit. They had me write a check to MacOnline Tech Help for 3 years of security and pop up blocking for $379.00 which gave them access to my bank account but I closed the account once I got suspicious.

I am attaching a screenshot of the information they told me to keep to get in touch with them. Please investigate immediately
