Type of a scam Employment
I reached out, and I was given an interview through the Telegram platform. The same day I was hired, and I was sent an offer letter the very next day showing the benefits of working for Lyneer Staffing Solutions. I was then mailed a check of about $1,000 from a construction company and was told to deposit and purchase two (2) Gift Cards in the amount of $200 and $500. I asked what the purpose of purchasing the gift cards was for, and I was told it was to purchase a Microsoft Surface Pro to begin working. I immediately found this to be suspicious, and I relayed to Daniel that I preoccupied and able to purchase the cards until the next day, and he was being extremely persistent for me to cash the check and Venmo him the $700.00.
I called Lyneer Staffing Solutions, and I was told it was a scam and that they would never contact anyone through Telegram.
