Lynda requested a deposit for a dog. The deposit was to be delivered to a” friends” PayPal account. As soon as the deposit was received Lynda’s Facebook page was no longer available. All communications ceased for two days when Lynda contacted us through email claiming her account was hacked. We continued to work on the purchase terms through email, but prior to picking up the dog Lynda asked for an additional $150 payment for registration paperwork to be paid to a different person. Despite multiple attempts to tell Lynda I would only pay in person upon pickup, she continued to say that was not the “normal process” to pay for an AKC registered dog. I recovered my initial deposit through PayPal and refused to continue with the transaction.
