I got scammed by a guy trying to pass as Chris Johnson. On ig ... he told me pretty much the same thing ... I invested 300 on lymotrademart thinking after 21 days I can withdraw. And nope .. the picture is what I thought I was getting back ...

The scammer created an instagram account impersonating a well known day trader and investor named Chris Johnson. The scammer advised he can assist me in learning to trade but first I would have to invest so we can use the money as an example. I sent $300 then $500 then $745 in bitcoin per the scammer’s request, this was before I realized he was impersonating an actual legit investor. Lymotrade was started at the end of 2020 so it is fairly new. Shortly there after the scammer advised my money was on hold for 21 days and cant be withdrawn until 21 days pass. I advised stocks can be bought and sold on the same day and that selling a stock can be done in seconds and money can be withdrawn right away. The scammer blocked me and refused to speak to me any further. I have a 6 month old baby.. I was just trying to do something for her future but instead I landed in the hands of someone who took advantage of me. I feel used and disheartened.
