I was a Lyft driver and someone was able to message me through the driver application imposing to be an agent from Lyft. They told me I was picking up a VIP person and that they had to verify my Lyft personal information. When I verified it, they took over my account and the money that I had in the account. I am sure they switched the banking information to their own account and scammed me. When I looked online, I am not the only victim of this. Lyft has no way to speak to someone directly and they have not responded and helped me with this issue. I've e-mailed them several times and no one has helped me. This happened on Sunday 6/25/23 around 3:50 pm EST. When I checked online, there are people who have not been contacted and helped by Lyft dating back to April of this year. This is obviously an issue on Lyft's side and they are not rectifying this issue.
