Promised, via video conference interview, "if I signed up to work & worked that day, that I would get 18.00 an hour for whatever hours I worked, that initial weekend". Then it would change to % based income. So I worked the first day and the amount owed, in the app, didnt equal what was negotiated. So I already worked the hours. I contacted support & was told "the amount is correct and it wouldn't be changed to reflect the promised amount AND if I wanted the messily 18 bucks I would be required to give them my account info". At this point I was pissed.

But luckily, i hadn't entered my bank account info yet, only, because I was pushed so quickly into the position and put to task immediately. I mean it took 1.5 hours and i was logged in and at work. Then 7.5 hours of sitting around that day logged into this stupid app waiting for it to send tasks. Thinking this is an easy $18 an hour.

Don't be a victim & dont play into these employment/slavery games. There are honest, legit, responsible, companies that acknowledge unions & adhere to the laws of minimum state wage requirements. We will be better off, in the long run, by avoiding these bogus slavery apps.
