I got a call from a restricted ID, her name was Samantha she says she is contract process server and she has been trying to serve me papers but has been unable to. Since she has not been able to, she tracked me and my wifes phone numbers. She gave me a case number and a phone number to call. she said to call and try to settle the case. She could give me little to no information about the case or what I being served with. When you call the phone number (based out of Houston) they answer the phone without addressing who they are what company it is.

They tell me the call is being recorded and that ask me to verify my name and last four of SS. The are calling about a ten year old account with the bank. We went over the situation and they said because they think i am sincere, they think they will dismiss the case. They tell me to do so I need to make monthly payments. They will not validate the debt/case. They wont give you an address or anything to make the 1000 payment. They said if I dont call back within 2 hours, they will proceed with the case.

I confirmed with the bank that there is no debt or collections. I called the county who is suppose to be taking me to court, and the case number is fake.

I got a hold of the real LRG and associates who does similar services but they are unfamiliar with who these people are.
