I was looking for a part time mystery shopper job. One came up online, so I applied. I received a text message that I had been approves. Today I came home to a $2400 check. The instructions seemed funny. The letter claimed to be from Lowe's Home Improvement and asked me to purchase gift cards. Text Shawn when complete. The check was from King Automotive in Hawaii. I called and spoke to a person in finance and was informed it was a scam. He stated someone had made a copy of a check, and this was happening all over the country.
