I placed my order on February 5, 2021. I was really excited about this item (Black potent signature hoodie). (Instagram) @potent__ . On February 9, 2021, He reached out to me, he sent a photo of the bagging which was cool af and said it is ready for shipping. After a couple of weeks the package hadn’t arrived. On February 22, 2021, I asked: “yo! What’s good with merch brotha”, he replied: “what’s up! Merch is being shipped this week”, but we were chatting online about his art, films, and life. *Added, I’m a big fan of his, always have been. He is really talented at what he does and A legit down to earth dude, at least that’s what I thought?? I was really confused about this and conflicted... because I don’t want to do this (put him on blast), but it’s been five months and 50 dollars... I also don’t want this to happen to anyone else... Who knows how many people, has been affected by this ??. I have never wrote a review like this on local businesses and usually local businesses on top of their game, it’s the hustle, you know. On March 14, 2021, I asked about the package again. he replied: “ The package has been sent back to me, i’m going to drop it off tomorrow”, “ I apologize for the delay”. I replied: “ no problem man”, and I sent my address just in case it was wrong. On April 8, 2021, I asked, “Brotha, where’s my hoodie? It’s been over 2 months”. He replied: “Yo bro can I drop it off to you tomorrow? I had to leave out of town and m throwing in more stickers I got more made I’m picking up tonight”, “I have your hoodie safe in the gift bag and will give you the next drop for free”. I replied “ That’s cool with me gee, I saw that you were out of town. I would appreciate it. right in time gee, got a party to go to this Saturday lol!, I’ll be reppin the goods. ??”. Next day, no reply, no answer, until April 15, 2021. I asked “My dude, what’s going on?”, “Am I going to get my hoodie?”. He replied: “Yooo a lot been going on, you will still be receiving your hoodie plus another one, plus goodies amd stickers, I just left out of town again, I will send you your money back because this isn’t how I do business, I apologize for taking this long, a lot has been going on man, almost got robbed and thats just the beginning”. I replied: “Bro, it’s all good man, stay safe my bro. Don’t send the money back, I just want the hoodie. You were almost robbed... my boy, be careful out there.” That was the last I heard from, “Potent”, he is not replying to my messages and I never received my hoodie. if it took $50 to get rid of somebody... I guess... I’m down. unfortunately some people are not what they seem. I’ve always wanted to buy a hoodie from him, thinking about it now at least i see the colors.
