The same happened to me this was a big scam and a huge loss for us! The man asked for a down payment threw cash app of 400 for bear the french bulldog we then paid the whole amount the next day to ensure he would send him.. then said he couldn’t ship him because it was too late.. also asked for us to rent a crate and had a ligit email carriers name come to my email. 950 so we gave it after that he asked for more money for puppy insurance.. thats when me and my husband started looking up scams and put it together.. i also wrote him on another phone number asking about Bear and he said he was still available and ready to scam again.. what a piece of [censored].. we confronted him and no response..

Inquired about an English Bulldog. Then I began texting back and forth about the dog. I told them I wanted to speak with him and ask some questions. He called me on the phone could barely understand him because the call was breaking up. When continued to text and then I asked about shipping and payment. He told me he only took CashApp and Zelle, I began to get suspicious but didn't trust my gut feeling. I ended up getting his information and split the cost of the dog and sent him 1/2 through Zelle. He told me the dog would be on a flight and it should be between 5/6 hours until he arrives. Then he said it was too late and the dog would have to fly out tomorrow. After I hadn't heard from him because I asked for recent pictures...I began to research a little more. I found a website that a scam website spoke about to look up pictures of dogs online to see if it was used before. Yep there was Mike, the puppy that was being shipped to me, on a picture from July 2018. I text back the guy again and of course no answer when I called him out and asked for a refund of my money immediately. So I am basically out our deposit and learned a valuable lesson always meet your puppy before spending any money!!!!!
