Rec'd email from a "Tina Leonard" re "PayPal" for "Geek Squad Renewal" $714.99 Home Basic Plan, invoice #IN/CW1WYHPH/558 with "order date" of 3/24.23, payment method "auto-debit." I do not have anything to do with Geek Squad. Checked my PayPal and nothing withdrawn but I closed my PayPal account anyway. Called the number, got some foreign guy, asked for "Tina" he put me on hold. Came back and said she wasn't there. I asked where are you located. He said California.

I asked where, and then he hung up on me. Besides closing my PayPal, I also viewed my bank account and see no activity. These might be the same people that scammed me out of an airline seat upgrade last year - their website looked like United Airlines Customer Service and it wasn't. I was duped a seat upgrade that cost 3x it should have, but it was a flight for a death in the family so my judgment was affected.
