I placed my order on March 9/23, and received an email that my order has been received, takes 3-5 days to customize and complete, and can take 2-4 weeks to ship to my residence.. I have not received any emails or anything since the day I ordered. I am not able to track my order because I didn't receive a tracking number or any other information. I saw on their website that you can track it by logging in and going to the orders tab. When I did that it says no order has been made. I tried to call their phone number(which automatically goes to voicemail?) and email them with no response. I am from Canada, and realize that it will take a while longer to receive, but what is frustrating is that there is no way to communicate with the company or track the progress of your order!

Would highly not recommend as this company is SCAMMING people out of their money.

I received my order today, although they only e-mailed me back once I had posted on here.. I'm happy with the way my order looks but I don't know if I would order through them again due to slow response from the company and inability to track my order. I highly recommend they work on this to improve their customer satisfaction.

I was asked by Christine at loris paint to post my first hand experience with loris paint. This is not a paid review, and is my first hand experience.

I ordered the custom diamond painting kit of me and my BF and I LOVE IT. It came out amazing. I ordered the 50x60cm size and it took about 3 weeks to arrive, and about 1.5 weeks to finish. It is amazing and so perfect. I have framed it and hung it up. I already ordered another one and have received it and already working on it.

I recommend loris painting to anyone who wants to get into either paint by numbers, or painting by diamonds. The quality is great, and the customer support is superb as always.
Ignore Negative Reviews! They are Fake!

We are not fake, my package never arrived and also to evade responsibilities they blocked me. I have shared evidence proving the fraud. Which is a crime, in case they had forgotten.

Ordered a paint by number exactly 4 weeks ago. They took the money and I received a confirmation email saying it would leave in 3 to 5 days. Never heard anything back after. I have tried calling (phone number isn’t accepting calls per the automated message), wrote an email and a message on TikTok (where I originally saw their products) to no avail. PLEASE BE AWARE AND THINK TWICE BEFORE ORDERING FROM THEM! Can’t even reach them to get a refund!

Update since I can’t delete my post. Received an email 3 days after saying my parcel was shipped and received my painting kit this morning. Order took longer than expected but I DID RECEIVE IT!

They say that they “ work very hard on turning each photo into a painting kit” this is false,
“They” aka the company they use in Taiwan, uses software to divide the paintings into 24/25 colours often missing the mark completely.
See previous reviews below; wedding dresses shouldn’t be blue or gray or green. It’s all done by software and it isn’t checked for quality.

This company deals with a drop shipper, it’s a product coming from Taiwan. If you manage to be able to get a delivery, (which I only got after trying to do a charge back with my bank) the order was finally sent.

I made a comment on one of their TikTok videos about how long shipping took and they blocked me.

On their website, there’s a ton on positive reviews, posted by them.
However if you search for “Lori’s paint scam” you will find tons of reviews like mine. If you have anything negative to say they will simply block you.

I ordered from Lori’s Painting 2 number paintings on January 18. I received an email shortly after stating it would take 3 to 5 business days to make. It is now February 10 and I have not received a shipping confirmation. I sent an email on February 2 and I have not received a reply to this day. I DM’d them on tiktok and I have not received a reply. Before ordering, I went through their reviews on their website and it was all positive. After reading the posts on here, I now realize that this business is a scam.

The company has finally reached out and mailed my order.

First off, read customer comments ok their social media's vefote purchasing. These are the real reviews, don't be fooled by their curated website reviews.
After receiving my product, which is NOT made in the states like they claim, I started to paint it. The colours are NO WHERE near the photo colours. It's absolutely appalling at how bad this product is. Others comments on social media state they have experienced the same, colours not matching. You want a green child? Then order here.
Good luck with trying to reach customer service, like every review states. No one answers. I've been trying for half a year now, it's pathetic.
I finally submitted a formal complaint to the BBB.

Update for anyone still wondering if this company is a scam... It is.

The BBB has an official complaint against them and has noted that Lori's Paint is a company who refuses to respond to the BBB. They tried to contact this company on 2 occasions. Both occasions Lori's did not respond.

Horrible product.
Horrible customer service.

The fact that Lori's paint will only respond on this forum is absolutely disgraceful. As a company, this is a completely unprofessional way to respond to customers. Reading their responses below is shocking how they treat customers.

I've attached the picture as I was painting it. I recieved photos from other customers who have reached out to me, via social media, and the results are the same. Mis matched colours to the photo. Dis satisfied customers who cannot reach customer service in a professional manner, resulting in scam forums to warn others.

Judge for yourself as a customer, how you rate the photo result I have attached. Just painting the wedding dress is not appealing.

First off we are not a scam. We work very hard on turning each photo into a painting kit. All orders are handmade and made with care.

Secondly I have attached the photo you submitted for your painting kit, and even though you are wearing what is supposed to be a "white" dress, you can see hints of green and yellow. Although in your mind you may have thought that you looked like you were wearing a white dress, but in reality the photo you submitted is not fully white.

I am sorry your painting kit did not include a white dress, but we created the painting kit based off the photo you submitted. We try to mimic the real colors that is captured in the photo.

We also offer free photo consultation before you purchase and upload your photo, which you did not choose to take us on the offer. We would have told you that your "white" dress will not come as white as you would think, and ask you to submit another photo.

I ordered two large paint by numbers, almost $200. I was told on the site that it would be delivered before Christmas. It was not. Site says that it’s made in the US, it’s not, it’s made in Hong Kong. I was sent the wrong brushes. I emailed them and received an automated response that someone will be in touch with me shortly. I never heard anything. I have left numerous voicemails and emails with no return call. I received the canvases and paint a few days ago. The numbers on top of the paint or partially scratched off, so I can’t even give as a gift. I have left numerous emails and texts about my most recent issue and no one returned my calls or emails. I’m out 200 bucks and I’m pretty pissed. The best thing any company can do with an unhappy client is to communicate with them.

Shannon Hershkowitz has been banned from purchasing from us as she has proven herself to be a racist and bigot. Not only does she write racists white supremacists comments all over our social media page, she is a total Karen and unprofessional to work with.

We love all the support we get from our clients, but in this case with Shannon Hershkowitz we would rather not do any business with her, even if she chooses to send us a million dollars. There is more to life than just money, and having peace of mind is much more valuable than dealing with Shannon Hershkowitz.

The reason for banning Shannon Hershkowitz is she is very unpleasant to work with and very unreasonable. When she did not get her way, she resorted to writing racist white-supremacist, and bigoted comments on our social media accounts. She was immediately banned from our social media, and all of her hateful comments were deleted. We are Lori's Paint do not condone any negativity, or any racist remarks towards anyone or any gender.

Shanon Herhkowitz is also a total Karen. I am copying and pasting her exact response below. You be the judge for yourself.

"Update. I heard from Christine. She told me that the paint brushes that I ordered were the correct ones. That’s not correct. I initially ordered them. I sent them an email asking that they please switch the brushes as I ordered the wrong ones. I received an automated response, telling me that someone will be in touch with me shortly. No one reached out: They mailed me the wrong ones."

So shannon hershkowitz admits to ordering the "wrong" brushes on her end, admits she made the mistake, and then when she realizes she received the brushes that she ordered, that it is our fault for sending her the wrong ones. We sent her the brushes that she ordered from our website. IF YOU ORDER THE WRONG BRUSHES, THAN THAT IS ON YOU.

Shanon hershkowitz also in a previous email let us know that the brushes she received were fine and good to use. If you say the brushes are fine one week, then why are you saying it is the wrong brushes you ordered the next week?

Once again we will reiterate that we at Lori's Paint do not condone any racist or hateful remarks. Although it was quite stressful dealing with Shannon Hershkowitz, we reiterate that if this same situation was to occur we would still ban her again as we do not have any tolerance for any racist or bigoted remarks.

I can’t even read the paint to know what color to put on the numbers and I’m told this company doesn’t owe me a response?!

This is ridiculous.

After reviewing this customers order here are the facts. We delivered her order correctly and on time. I am attaching an email from the customer that shows that the customer indeed received the correct brushes that she ordered, as well as saying that she was happy with the brushes she ordered. This attachment shows the customers email/ order info as well as what she ordered, as well as her saying that she is happy with her brushes.

I’m one of many on this sight who ordered paint by numbers in time for a Christmas gift and nothing to date. I received tracking info. Funny how their site says made in US but tracking confirms they are misleading as it shows Hong Kong as one of many many stops on the way to the US. I’m out close to 200 and no gifts. Do not trust this company AT ALL! Had I read reviews first I would have ordered from the real company in Manhattan. Those customers are getting their orders in days vs never. Scammed!

I placed an order on Nov. 30th and received an email that my order was complete. I thought it was strange that they didn't send me a tracking number in my email. I emailed them back a few weeks later to check on my order and to date I have not received a response. The number on their website is not accepting calls. Please do not purchase from this company. They just scammed me out of $37.99. This is horrible of them! Shame on them especially since my order was going to be a Christmas gift!

I ordered a custom paint by number kit supposed to be for a Christmas gift. I received an email saying my order was completed. I did not receive any shipping notification. I created an account with the email I use to see if there was update and when I logged in it said there was no order.
I emailed the company asking for the shipping number. I received an automated response saying someone would get back to me. No one ever did.
I have emailed them four other times after that asking for help with the order and a refund. No response.
I have left messages on their bogus phone number. No response.
It has been 2 months now and still no response. I’ll be waiting for a little bit more but I think This site is a scam and steals your money. I wont be ordering anything from them again.

Contacted Lori’s Paint company prior to ordering to ask if they ship to Canada. The response was yes. Proceeded to order on October 25, 2022. Received confirmation of order email. November 25, 2022 emailed again asking where my order was, no response. Called Nov 30, 2022, message says this number can’t receive calls. I left a message however certain it’s not legitimate and have been scammed. So unfortunate. My granddaughter will be so disappointed. Shame on whomever is behind this. DO NOT be fooled and purchase from this place. Not real.

Carol Blais is now accusing us of making up the fact that we tried to reach out to her on October 26th for her photo, which she then chose to ignore. Carol Blais does not want to accept responsibility that the reason for the delay in her order, is because she did not follow all directions nor respond to any of our emails. I am now attaching the full email conversation between [email protected] and carol blais that shows us initially reaching out on 10/26/22 for her photo, and then reaching out again at a later date. You can clearly see Carol Blais responding to our emails showing that she did indeed receive our original email.

I have read the lengthy reply from Lori’s painting but unfortunately cannot agree with the statement. I did not receive an email back on Oct 26 stating I had not attached a picture. Perhaps that is the case but I was completely unaware. As for me responding to additional emails to me, there were none. I did receive an email in response to my shipping question, the confirmation email of my order and then automated emails saying they received my email, when I emailed them back asking about my order. This may have all been a misunderstanding, but the customer service to me, was not good. How does a company not respond to emails or when you call, not even accept calls? They are asking me to send in the picture now so the order can be filled. I’m unsure if I will ever receive it if I do. I have zero reason to lie as I truly wanted this gift for my granddaughter. This may have been a “one-off” for this company, I hope that is the case.

TLDR: Customer did not include the photo she wanted to use in her custom paint by numbers kit. We reached out to her for the photo the very next day, but we never received a response. Our team has been waiting for her to send us the photo but still to this day (12/30/2022) have not received it yet.

After researching this customers specific order, here are the facts.

Customer Carol Blais placed an order with us for a custom paint by numbers kit on 10/25/2022. The product she ordered is a custom painting kit where the customer (Carol) submits a photo to us that they want to turn into a painting kit. Unfortunately the customer did not include her photo with her order, and as a result we reached out via email the very next day her order was placed (10/26/22 photo attachment) asking the customer to send us the photo by email. The customer did NOT respond to this email or any further email from us asking her to send us the picture. Without the customers picture, we cannot create the customers order as it is a custom order. We have been waiting for customer to send us the photo, and to this day (12/30/2022) have not received it yet. We also clearly state on our product page that failure to attach a photo with your custom order will result in delays or possible order cancellations (photo attachment shown below). Our team is fully able and waiting to create the customers order, but without the customers submitted photo we have nothing to create.

We are very sad to hear that the customers granddaughter will not receiver her Christmas Gift, however in this case there was nothing we could have done.

So to summarize what happened...

1. Customer placed order with us on October 25th for a custom paint by numbers kit, but forgot to include the photo she wanted to use.
2. The team at Lori's Paintings noticed and reached out to her via email the very next day (10/26/2022), asking her for her photo.
3. Customer did not respond to our request for her photo, and our continued attempts to contact the customer failed as we received no response.

We have made contact with the customer and are now working with the customer to either get her a refund or a new painting kit (if the customer chooses to send us her photo), however all of this could have been avoided if the customer attached her photo with her order, or responded to one of our many numerous attempts to reach out to her.

This is a one off situation that could have been avoided if the customer included her photo when initially placing her order, or if the customer responded to any of our numerous attempts to contact her.

We at Lori's Paintings believe we did everything we could regarding her order. It is true that no product was created or delivered for the customer, but this is because the customer did not send us the photo she wanted to use.

We have over 10,000 satisfied customers worldwide and have very few instances where the customer feels like they were wronged by us. In the few cases where the customer does feel like they were wronged it is either due to packages being lost during shipping (which is out of our control and we will send you a new one or give you a full refund in this case), or in this case when the customer does not include their photo which results in delivery delays for obvious reasons.

I ordered (2) Starry Night paint by diamond kits for $19.99 each. I received an email saying my order was completed. I did not receive any shipping notification. I logged into my account and saw they marked it complete and listed a bogus shipping number that did not work on ANY shipping company site.
I emailed the company asking for the shipping number. I received an automated response saying someone would get back to me. No one ever did.
I have emailed them four other times after that asking for help with the order and a refund. No response.
I have left messages on their bogus phone number. No response.
It has been almost 4 months now and still no response.
This site is a scam and steals your money. Do not ever order anything from them.

After researching this customers order here are the facts.

Customer placed her order for (2) starry night paint by diamonds kit on July 17,2022 (attachment below showing order info/shipping details). Her order was listed as delivered to the address in South Jordan, Utah (second tracking attachment confirming delivery of order to same address listed on order info attachment). From our records this customers order was shipped and delivered in a timely and fair manner.

I placed a custom paint by number order with Lori's in late July 2022 and have not yet received my order, I have been sending very polite emails almost everyday and have tried calling the "New York" number as well with zero help from them. The funny thing is that 2 weeks after I placed my order I told my sister about it and she placed an order and received her order! Very poor customer service and i was ripped off of my hard earned cash. I am very angry, the photo I sent was of my Dog Tex that has since passed away. Please do not do business with these scammers!

I ordered a painting from Loris Paints August 1 2022 for my anniversary and I have no painting and today is Sept 2 2022. I got a message of delivery and no package & when I tried to call the number to figure out what was going on it didn’t work only got a busy signal and they are not emailing me back. I paid $60 for a paint by numbers kit for a wedding present. I ordered over a month ago, no one is responding to emails. I was told i’d get an email with tracking and that never arrived. Their phone number doesn’t work, and there’s no address listed. The website says they are in NYC but every automated response email I have received is from different people with unusual names. I will ask where my order is and they just ask for the order number and never respond. I have sent them at least 10 emails with no response. Don’t let these jerks take your money. OH and they have reviews on their website, but nowhere you can leave a review. How convenient.

I ordered a custom paint by numbers kit, they said it was completed, then they never shipped it. I contacted their customer service and they said that they will be shipping it next week and i would recieve a tracking number. That never happened. For now 2 additional weeks i have tried to contact them by all means and they are not responding to anything anymore.

Orderd july 19th got all the confirmation completion emails a random what looks like tracking number that doesnt work with any shippers dhl ups canada post fed ex an get automated responses threw emails an number listed is unavailable

Customers Shadan Simmons has received her order on August 30th. Customer order is an international order (canada) and all packages must clear customs, which can cause an extra 3-5 business day delay. Customers order was delivered within the time frame that was listed. Attachment shows shadan simmons order info with delivery address, and date order was placed, while the other attachment shows tracking number (canada post) to the same address listed in shadans order info.

I placed an order on the company's websites and didn't receive my product for over a month. When I reached out via email, I heard nothing back. When I reached out via social media, I was blocked and got no response other than standard away messages.

Did a google search for “custom paint by number” and this site came up first. It had the same first name as me. I emailed them several questions about the product and they responded immediately. I placed an order on 4/8, paying via credit card and received an order confirmation. I contacted them via email for a status update a week later and they responded the order should be complete that Fri but could take several weeks to ship. Made no sense as I paid for expedited shipping and the site said it was in my home state. I emailed them again to question and have not heard another thing and received nothing. Now in hindsight I find it suspicious that the website had painting dimensions in cm not inches. And no physical address is listed. The phone number goes to a mechanical voice saying not available. Their FB page looks legit but you can’t access the comments on posts. They don’t respond to FB messages. The charge on my credit card shows up as “site name”. Now when I google “custom paint by number” the site doesn’t show up. If I type in other female names and paint (ie: laurenspaint.com) the exact same site pops up just with that name. Clearly I am the victim of a scam and lost $137 for the two paint by number kits ordered.

TLDR: Customer got a full refund and received her order. Attachments listed below as proof.

Here are the facts for this order.

Customer placed order on 4/8 for two custom paint by numbers kit. We created and shipped those products out, however her order was lost/delayed during shipping by our shipping carries (out of our control). As a result we have already given the customer a full refund as shown in the order info page (circled in yellow).

Also note that the customer not only received a full refund, but still received their order as our shipping carrier was able to ultimately deliver customers order on June 4th 2022. (tracking attachment)

So not only did the customer get her order, but she also got her money back.
