In attempt to make a purchase of a chair through Amazon, Bing popped up a coupon with a better price by another company. The company website looked legit and my husband proceeded with the purchase. Immediately after making the purchase using "PayPal," $84.16 was deducted from our checking account. Upon "receipt" of a receipt, our laptop screen defaulted to another "Merchant Name" of [email protected] with an excessively long Transaction ID #*****************, Invoice ID and Purchase ID #s of ***********************--it also listed the payment as $96.78 (not $84.16).

I have filed fraudulent/suspicious company through PayPal and our bank. Also--we are now receiving "phishing" texts with someone posing as our bank--I have reported this issue with the bank also.
