This is a locksmith company that came and programmed a new key fob. He ended up giving me 2 fobs, but he tried to charge me 600 dollars per fob, 300 dollars to unlock my car, and 250 dollars for a service call. So the total bill was going to be nearly 1800 dollars. After he told me that they couldn’t accept credit cards, he told me cash would be the only way he could accept payment. After negotiations I was able to get him down to 1250. But that was way more than any other locksmith in the area would have charged. I wanted to tell him that I don’t want to have the service done, I was worried he was going to go back and steal my car since he programmed the key fobs. So I was kind of stuck. It was a very sketchy situation and this company should be shut down and never have any service completed again. They say they are Jewish as well. They don’t have any religious views except for screwing vulnerable individuals.

Said they were the local locksmith associated with KeyMe. Yet they did not use the KeyMe stated rates. They did not provide the upfront quote as stated on KeyMe site. They significantly up charged all rates and charged a 43% mario for the product itself.

Since the service was completed after I was aware of the scam, the manager on the phone informed me that calling Visa would not make a difference since the service was complete.

As the receipt shows, these prices do not match KeyMe

Their phone number comes up online as a local 24 hour locksmith, and they quote you $48 over the phone. When they come in person, they show up in an unmarked vehicle and give you an unmarked bill for much more. Mine was $164 but then he said he'd give me an "employee discount" of $15 off. They pressure you to use cash, but I paid with a credit card.

They installed a very cheap lock charged $483 and gave me a bill with another more expensive lock!
