When the employee arrived, he said he couldn’t clean it at my office and needed to take it to the warehouse to be cleaned but could only do it with receiving a Zelle payment up front. He told me the rug would be cleaned and returned in 2-3 business days. I sent him a payment of $120 to [email protected] and he gave me a yellow receipt in return. After the three days past, I started calling to ask about the status of my rug. Each time I called I would get as far as speaking with a receptionist who said she would leave a message for the manager to return my call. I proceeded to call every single morning for almost two weeks asking where my rug was. After the second week I started to realize this might not be a real rug cleaning business and that my money, and rug, were gone. Finally, the employee who came to take my rug called and said he had my rug but could only drop it off after-hours. I told him I wouldn’t be at the office after-hours but if he wanted to leave it by my office suite that would be fine, since packages are left there for me all the time. Two days later I still hadn’t received my rug. I called (again) and they exclaimed they did in fact leave the rug there and they would text me a photo of where they placed it.
I never received the photo or a text.
I went outside of my office building to check if there was a rug outside, even though I specifically asked them not to leave it outside the building. I then saw a rug leaning on the corner of the building, unwrapped. When I inspected to see if it was my rug I was met with a horrible smell of dog and realized I was looking at a rug that was not mine, covered in dog hair.
I called four more times in the hopes of speaking to a manager or owner, with no luck. They hang up on me whenever I try and ask for a resolution. Now they no longer answer at all. This company is a scam and they are stealing peoples money. I hope no one else has the unfortunate luck of having to go through the experience I have gone through. They stole my rug, and my money.
