this company has called and said I owe them for Online Optimization of our company. They sent me a copy of a contract that shows my name and signature even though I never signed anything. (don't know how they got this) The amount they are invoicing for is several thousand dollars. We are a small local business and have no need for this service. They have threatened to send my file to the ScamPulse.com if i don't pay it.

I have never talked to these people. I have never received any invoice by mail, fax or email until after the phone calls started and I asked for proof of contract.

I did not authorize this service

I have been contacted several times by Local Eco pages claiming that I agreed to do business with them a year ago. They then said that my bill for the last year was $899. After asking for proof that I had agreed to it they claimed that they couldn't provide written proof because it was all done over voice (which they can't provide either). They are now contacting me through their "legal" department claiming that they will send it to the credit bureaus and mess up my credit. They are a scam.

Have no record of this company until August 16th 2018 when I recieved an email with an "invoice" attached stating I owed $899 for a "package" that stated due on the same date. A phone call on the same day asking why I hadnt made a payment yet and that it was late and could be turned over to a collection agency. Since I have had several phone calls threatening to report me to credit bureau, etc. On October 2nd I recieve an email with a new invoice attached adding on $496.09 for interest and administrative fees. On the first couple calls I demanded to see proof of any services or contract. Never recieved anything but an invoice. Looked at their website and the only listing with My name on it is just that. My company name attached to a spot on the map.

We are a business in Rhode Island. The owner received a call from Brandy at Local Eco Pages saying that the owner verbally agreed to use them for search engine optimization (several months ago) and that we owed them $990.00 and demanded a credit card payment. She became very aggressive when the owner told her she would have to call back and speak to the bookkeeper. someone named Jessica called back for the credit credit info and the bookkeeper informed her that we would never have agreed to this and that we will not be paying for it. She also became very aggressive. I hope they do call back so I can read to then all the posts about their business being a scam

In the last month, Local Eco Pages has called me twice claiming that I owe them $899 for a service that I supposedly signed up for over a year ago to improve our online presence. Our online presence has never been in question considering the number of calls we get each day. Therefore, I never would have purchased any such service.

Over the past year, I have not once heard from this company regarding the service that I supposedly signed up for. If I were to sign up for a service, I would expect monthly reports. NOTHING has been reported to me.

They claim that I received a welcome package and have proof that I received it. I asked if it was sent certified. The caller said no it was sent through the regular mail. That made me suspicious. I looked up Local Eco Pages on the ScamPulse.com and found that several other people have had the same encounter with this so called business. DO NOT TALK TO THEM! They record your answers and manipulate the recording to make it sound like you agreed to their service. Unfortunately they call from and out of area number, so I can't report it.

Just got a call from local ECO pages co, so they say. Said I owed them $899.65 for search engine optimazation. I never signed up for this. They tried this last year and I had my lawyer call them. It stopped then. Now they are starting up again. I will be letting my attorney know about this and probably the R.I. attorney Generals office as well. Don't say anything to Local ECO pages reps.

Local Eco Pages has called and sent invoices for "advertising" we did not purchase. Our business name isn't even correct in their records, yet they insist we took out advertising and continue to call. It's been about 3 years and they are still calling/sending fake invoices. They threaten to send our "debt" to collections.

Received a call attempting to solicit money, claiming they have listings for us on google, yahoo, msn, and bing and that we agreed to pay once we reached over 1000. The call came in on a blocked number. Immediately told them I did not have their services, nor did I want them. They're answer was that they're sending my file into the corporate offices, and hung up. After receiving, I did google and look at ScamPulse.com and have found many similar stories.

Someone by the name of Jessica called to say that we are overdue in paying at least two months and the amount was over $800.00. We have NEVER advertised with this company and asked them to provide us with a copy of the contract/agreement. Then two more agents called offering a discounted rate if we paid with our credit card over the phone. We immediately Googled the company and found similar complaints online.

Our business was contacted by a woman calling herself Kim Kennedy. She did give me her phone number to have the owner call back....212-905-4936. She claims our company owes for advertising from 2014. The basic package was $889.65 and interest and admin fees were $556.07. After 3 days of her saying she would fax the invoice which she did not, she said she would send it via email. When she called to verify we received the invoice I explained to her that we do not advertise as we have specific clients that we work with. She then said she has a recording of someone authorizing. I asked for that as well as a copy of the advertising they supposedly did. I can assure you we did not authorize this advertising.

I received a phone call from Local eco pages in late October of 2015 asking if I wanted to continue or cancel my "Basic Package Online advertising and web optimization" from one year ago. Catching me off guard I said yes to canceling it. They said that this is on a recorded line and that the charge was $829.65. They continue the recording and asking me specific questions. After all was done I hung up the phone and questioned if I actually did sign up for this last year. I asked the owners and they didn't recall anything as well. The next day I receive an email of a "fake" invoice claiming that we owe them the $829.65. I was in shock and called the number right away, a gentleman named Steven is supposable in charge of our account and told me that he has a recording of me purchasing his service one year ago and said that "the recording is a legal binding contract in the state of Illinois". I asked him then to play me the recording and is sounded like the exact same questions and answers that was given to me the day before. So then I asked him to play the recording that happened the day before and he said that he was not authorized to do so. I asked him if I could speak to a manager and he said that there is no one above him and hung up. No more than 5 minuets later a woman called saying that she was the Manager. Finally after 5 days Steven calls me back and says that he has both recordings. I listened to both of them and it would appear that they just asked the same questions but cropped my voice out from the only recording they had and made it seem like there were two different recordings. Please do not buy into this Scam . I also asked them to send me a record of what they had done to help my business and they sent me the attachment below, which looks like they just made it up then and there as well pasted our name and address onto the document.

This is the same type of scam I have been receiving from Green Pages. Faxing me saying I owe 889.65 for basic package and 457.07 for interest and administration fees. totaling $1,346.72. We never agreed to any of this so called advertising. I looked it up and its the same basic generic info Green Pages has that ANYONE could look up and find for free on the internet. They also have one of my company names with the wrong owner and wrong telephone number. When I tried calling and talking to them about and questioning them about the information the lady I Spoke with Mary Freeman said I didn't know what I was talking about and that what information I had them use is what was included in the basic package. This Local Eco Pages is always based out of new York on Madison Ave just like Green Pages.
