I called the number listed and a man from India answered the phone. It sounded like I was calling a personal cell number. The phone number shows listed in Thermal, CA which is the middle of nowhere in Cali but the office is allegedly located in San Francisco. The Man tells me I been approved as stated in the email and send me via email a copy of my loan terms and to upload my DL. Then he tells me that they need to confirm my bank information and to provide my online username and password. I asked why this was needed and he said to confirm my bank information - I asked could they not do that with my bank routing number and account number? I asked him if this was a scam and he tells me that nobody is making me take this loan and I am not being asked to pay any money upfront. He was unable to "transfer" money that same day because he had to verify my bank and it was closed for the day. So I had to call back in the morning at 8am. I asked would anyone be available that early as 8am on the east coast means 5am on the west coast. He claims they work 24/7 and they would be available. I called the next morning at 8am and nobody answered. I called twice. I then went to the website and used the chat feature. It was the same guy that answered the phone. I told him I am following up on the loan and said I called and nobody answered. He claims they were busy and working on my loan as I would be updated soon. I just told him I don't want the loan and informed they were fake and a scam and their address is not even correct. (I searched the address and its a building with available rental space on the same floor this company claims they are on). The guy tells me again "you think and you believe we are fake we are not forcing you to take this loan". I said "You don't have to force anyone- you make it appear so easy to get one so why would you all force it" After that he claims to cancel my application. I changed my online password and pin number to my bank card just in case. I only have $10 in the account but I don't want to have these people in my personal financial affairs. I can't believe I fell for this one but thankfully I lost no money but knowing I gave up personal info to strangers and they have my SS# is a little unnerving.
