I was contacted by this group saying they were going to be able to help me with a mortgage loan remodification. they said they were affiliated with my original loan company, they called from another number but assured me if I could pay the balance of my escrow I would be able to move forward with a loan mod that reduce my payments by 30% and reduce my interest rate. They asked for payment on a prepaid amex card. I was assured a receipt but have not received one yet. As a matter of fact I have not received anything in writing or tangeable that explains what they are saying they are going to do. Everyone I have talked to has a heavy East Indian accent. I am very concerned about this issue.
