I a lady on Facebook posted an ad about a work -from - home job offer.. I said I was interested and she told me to download the app Telegram .. then she sent me a link and told me to say hi and I would be connected to the hiring manager .. I did and from there I thought I was doing an interview , but after I gave my ssn and my pic of id they asked for money to send my materials and I would be reimburse.. I sent them $370 and then I had a friend send me a message from Telegram asking why I was on the app .. I told th about the job offer and then they told me that it was a scam . They said telegram is an app for scammers . So I tried to get my money back and they locked me out my cash app and my Facebook .. I had to report my page to Facebook , because they were pretending to be me asking for money .
