This company, I think they go by LISHBOS, scammed me by trying to sell my Microsoft Office 365. They said they had a promo deal for $99 lifetime subscription. I was not sure but they sounded legit by using Microsoft Office lingo and told me they would help me install it. Since I had to get this for my online class which was starting that day he said he would help me install it within 15-20 mins. After 45 mins he was still not finished and I saw that he was downloading a bunch of suspicious software. I started to get nervous and notified my cousin who is in IT and he told me it was a total scam. I called the guy who was still working on “helping me install the program” and he kept stalling and lied to me about everything. He was stalling to download things so that he can look into my computer and look for credit card information, passwords and other private stuff. I became more and more nervous and frightened as it went over an hour and I begged the guy to stop downloading and looking into my laptop computer. I had so much fear and anxiety I started to cry but all the guy said was to tell me to calm down and drink water to keep stalling. I was beyond angry and devastated because I got violated. He said he would continue to help me install Microsoft Office 365 and told me to attend my class and he would call me back. I had the worst time in class and couldn’t concentrate at all feeling so scared that they were still watching me through my laptop. After my class he never called me back so it was definitively a complete scam. I had to have my cousin wipe my laptop clean but even after that I still felt like they had access to my computer and could still be watching me. I have trauma from that horrifying experience and will never trust or feel comfortable using my computer again. That was one of the most frightening and violating experience of my life. I hope you they get caught so that no one ever has to go through what I went through that horrific day.
