Carson Lipps was referred to us to have some electrical work done. We received a quote from him on 4.24.2022 of which we accepted. He requested half down as a deposit. 5.11.2022 Carson said he could start the project. He showed up, we gave him half down. He worked for an hour and said he had to leave but will be back later that afternoon. He showed up at 7:00pm to pick up his tools and said he would return the next morning at 9:00am. On 5.12.2022, there was no communication and Carson finally showed up about 11:30am. We were going out of town that day so we let Carson know he would need to be done around 2:00pm. At 2:30, we let Carson know we were leaving so he would need to come back to finish another day. He then said he was slow with work and was hoping to get paid. We did give him half of what we owed him but said he could get the rest when the job was complete. Carson told us he would be back on 5.21.2022 to complete the job. He never showed up. He has been completely unresponsive to any phone calls, emails, text messages. He has basically left us with an incomplete project that we paid him to do. He took our money and ran. We will now have to pay for materials and possibly another electrician to complete the work.
